My Success Group is a Business to Business Network Group -

We are all about Referrals!! (click here - membership form)

Guiding Principles

Membership will be limited to those who fulfill the rules of five:

  • Attend five times.
  • Bring five guests.
  • Give five referrals.
  • Have five one on one’s (at least 2 with leadership committee members).

Other Bylaws:

  • Each prospective member must complete the rules of five and submit an application. The Membership Committee will review prospective members and give approval.
  • There is no competition among members. Each member represents a unique business niche. In the event any member feels there is a conflict, the concerned member will bring any perceived conflict to the Leadership Committee for resolution.
  • Each member represents the best in class. The caliber and quality of their work and networking should speak for itself, since PROFESSIONALISM is the key to giving quality referrals and obtaining new members and guests. In the event PROFESSIONALISM is repeatedly compromised, the group has the right to ask for and receive the resignation of one of it's members. No one member has the right to compromise the integrity and strength of the group as a whole.
  • All members will actively participate in the group. This includes attending meetings, inviting guests, meeting one-on-one with members, and making referrals. The emphasis is placed on each member pro- actively adding value to the group.
  • A member is allowed four (4) absences per quarter. (Those quarters are January through March, April through June, July through September, and October through December.) In addition, a member who misses three (3) consecutive meetings would also lose their exclusive membership position. You may ask someone to represent you for any absence. Please remember, if you are asked to represent another member, the absence will count against you. In order to be counted as present, you must give your 30 second introduction during the meeting. If you do not give your 30 second introduction, you will be counted as absent. All members will act with integrity regarding network business and referrals. Each member will: follow through on all referrals to both the prospect and lead provider, make a business-like presentation to the prospect, and treat the referral with respect. At no time will a member ask anyone to leave the group without first talking to the two committees. At that time the committees will first ask the member to have a one-on-one with the new guest before asking them to leave. They may be able to work out something that they both could stay and promote different products. If not, the member should come to the committee then the committee and the member will vote on what to do. Each case will be different.
  • All members will act with integrity regarding network business and referrals. Each member will: follow through on all referrals to both the prospect and lead provider, make a business-like presentation to the prospect, and treat the referral with respect.
  • Any member has the right to object, for any good cause, to the attendance of a guest or representative of a specific industry/business and to object to that guest becoming a member. Upon receiving that objection, the Leadership and Membership Committees shall vote to uphold or deny the objection. If the objection is upheld, the guest or member will be informed that his attendance is no longer acceptable.
  • "When you become a member of My Success Group you represent only one business and have exclusivity in that field. Many of us are engaged in multiple businesses, but within this group we each represent ONLY the business under which we attained membership. As a member, when you are promoting your business within the group you can promote ONLY the business under which you attained membership. You cannot promote another business during the group meetings, one-on-ones, or other group functions. This rule ensures fairness to all of the members of My Success Group who worked as hard as you did to achieve exclusivity.
  • In the event 2 prospective members qualify for membership at the same time, the leadership committee will vote on the prospect who represents the biggest benefit potential to the group (to attempt to preclude any personal biases).

Leadership Team- determines potential conflicts with members and initiates discussion. Helps to train new members on how to have the group be an effective part of their business. Develops meeting agendas and facilitates meetings as required; invites guest speakers on periodic basis; handles group issues as they arise. Help set up for meeting.

Membership- Provides application packet to guests; handles orientation of guests and new members; reviews membership applications, describes expectations of group for new members and introduces new members at meeting.

This is something we take very seriously - it is a major benefit of becoming a member of My Success Group. With that in mind, if the group leadership discovers that you are promoting more than one business within the group, you will be asked to leave." Also, as a guest who has not become a member, you cannot promote a business in which we have a member. With that in mind, if you promote a business in which we DO have a member that has exclusivity, you will be asked to leave. If there is any doubt about conflict, the concerned member will bring any perceived conflict to the Leadership Committee for resolution.
